This is for use on gold filled or base metal pocket watch cases. This demonstrates how to open the back of a stuck or cross threaded pocket watch case. This will also work for bezels.
For bezels with missing crystals, use a cap that is the same diameter as the bezel. I have used this method many times and it hasn't failed me yet. Sometimes, I have had to reglue to get a better grip, especially on bezels. Here are reviews of hot glue gunsHere is my antique site. Here is my auction site-Tamarack Shack Antiques InstagramHueckman Auction InstagramTamarack Shack Antiques Facebook PageHueckman Auction Facebook PageA great watch resource siteWhere I get my business cardsHere is a fabulous place to find watches at auction.
